Carbon footprint
You cannot reduce what you have not previously measured.
Since 2023, yex CHANGE has been measuring greenhouse gas emissions produced by its activities through the
Corporate Carbon Footprint Certification ISO 14064-1. With a view to reliability and transparency of the calculation, it has continued the process with the validation of the calculation itself by a third party. What has emerged is a limited impact, in line with the profile of a currency exchange service
company.
yex CHANGE has also chosen to offset its emissions through the purchase of carbon credits, supporting environmental projects in the territories surrounding its exchange agencies. These projects, in addition to having environmental benefits, at the same time generate positive impacts on the community and the territory, promoting employment and the protection of natural habitats and biodiversity.

Val Dogà
PLACE:
One of the oldest existing fishing valleys in the Northern lagoon of Venice, near the embankment of the Sile Canal, in the municipality of Caposile. 20 km from the Venice Airport where we operate.
ACTION:
Support for the regular maintenance of the fishing valley, in order to guarantee the healthiness of the lagoon environment. By regulating the water flows of the fishing valley, the brackish water captures large quantities of CO2. In the absence of such interventions, clogging and anoxia phenomena would occur, which would lead to the loss of both the environmental characteristics of suitability for fish farming and biodiversity.

PLACE:
A total area of 750 hectares in the northern area of the Veneto Regional Natural Park of the Po Delta. Less than 100 km from Venice Airport where we operate.
ACTION:
Support for aquaculture, with significant environmental enhancement and control to protect these ecosystems and their delicate balances.
Through aquaculture, the biological balance of these unique ecosystems in water and on land is maintained. Maintaining a healthy algal substrate allows the fixation of CO2 from the atmosphere, i.e. the reduction of greenhouse gases.

Mezzocammino district of Rome (Municipio IX), about 17 km from the "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport.
ACTION:
yex CHANGE supports ForestaItalia, the largest private forestation campaign in the country through the forestation project for the renaturalization of peri-urban areas in the Capital, in the Mezzocammino district. Through Reteclima, the intervention involves the planting of a mix of tree species (such as oak, ash, hazel, downy oak) and shrub species.

ACTION:
