yex CHANGE has a strong connection with the Italian cultural identity, in fact it is aimed at tourists who come to our country to visit the many artistic treasures that make it famous in the world. To support the Italian cultural heritage we have given a positive contribution to the communities we feel we are part of, namely those close to the places where our exchange agencies are located.

The supported projects are among the interventions proposed by Art Bonus of the Ministry of Culture, urgent measures to promote cultural patronage.

Support for the culture of ancient Ostia, Syracuse and Venice

yex CHANGE supports cultural institutions and archaeological parks, contributing to their maintenance, to the enrichment of their activities and to the improvement of the reception of visitors with disabilities. Our donations aim to make art and culture accessible to an ever wider audience, guaranteeing a positive experience of fruition for all.

Archaeological Park of Ancient Ostia

WHERE:
The Archaeological Park of Ancient Ostia is located along the Roman coast, between the municipalities of Rome and Fiumicino.

PROJECT:
The Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica is one of the most important archaeological areas in Italy. It includes 13 archaeological and monumental areas and 4 museums, among which the remains of ancient Ostia, the Fiumicino Ship Museum and numerous protected green areas stand out. yex CHANGE contributes to the care and improvement of the reception of this precious place of culture.
The Art Bonus project supported by yex CHANGE is called “Ostia, step by step, a path to travel together” and includes restoration and maintenance activities of the monuments, routes, archaeological and architectural heritage and the arboreal/naturalistic heritage, as well as reception activities and services to the public in favor of an increasingly diversified and international user base.

Greek Theatre of Syracuse

WHERE:
The Greek Theatre is located within the Neapolis Archaeological Park, in the city of Syracuse.

PROJECT:
The Greek Theatre of Syracuse is a work of extraordinary historical value, being one of the oldest and best preserved theatres in the world. The theatre is alive and active, hosting concerts and theatrical performances of great participation, thanks to the large cavea formed by 67 orders of steps carved into the rock. Through its donation, yex CHANGE contributes to the activities of theINDA Foundation(Fondazione Inda Istituto Nazionale del Dramma Antico Onlus) which is responsible for preserving the cavea space during the theatre season.
The Art Bonus project supported by yex CHANGE is aimed at improving accessibility for spectators with disabilities. It involves the removal of architectural barriers and the reconstruction of the upper cavea staircase and the installation of stair lifts for the disabled.

Giorgio Cini Foundation of Venice

WHERE:
The Giorgio Cini Foundation is located on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, in Venice.

PROJECT:
The Giorgio Cini Foundation is an internationally renowned cultural institution that promotes humanistic research, scientific activity and reflection on current political and social issues. Since 1951, it has operated as a study center through research projects and study paths on the arts and history. The Foundation is also committed to the defense and enhancement of the Island of San Giorgio and its abbey. Through its donation, yex CHANGE supports the Cini Foundation in its many cultural activities.
The Art Bonus project supported by yex CHANGE is aimed at carrying out maintenance, protection and restoration interventions on the Island of San Giorgio, a state property granted to the Cini Foundation. It includes interventions aimed at the conservative restoration of the historic windows and roofs and system adjustments aimed at energy containment.
